What Is Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance?
Haven’t cleaned your filters in a while?
Most air conditioners contain filters. These filters may be easily accessible, for example inside the ceiling or wall grilles or within a wall mounted or cassette style unit. However, filters may also be installed/hidden within the ceiling space, inside duct work.
With normal use of the air conditioning, the filters will become dirty and blocked over time. Once the filter is blocked with dust and dirt, this will reduce the amount of air flow and can lead to the air conditioner switching off in some instances. The lifespan of your filters can be prolonged by regular cleaning (vacuuming or hosing and leaving to dry).
